Pardon the poor video and audio quality as this was shot using my E71 (made from China). I am testing my skills with the Windows Movie Maker hence the titles and the credits before and after the video.

Gabby on Meditation
I've been MIA on this blog for a while! So, we're back -- meaning I and Gabby -- with some videos we shot over the holidays and some videos I haven't posted yet. Here's one funny video and if you noticed an additional sound, that's me trying to control my laugh. Enjoy!

A Roaring Animal Slideshow For Gabby
One of the things that I teach Gabby is the importance of writing about her experiences. I wouldn't be the blogger I am now if it wasn't for my 2nd Year High School English teacher who literally forced me to sign up for the journalism class so I can be a news writer for the campus. I guess she saw something in me that my I didn't. I am thankful for that.
I hope other mommy bloggers would also find this slideshow helpful. Why not show this to your kids and get them interested about animals.
To help her with her writing, I provide her with both online and offline references. I am embedding here a slideshow that I just made for her using Animoto, a free tool for turning your pictures into rockin' and roarin' 30-second videos. The photos I included here were taken from our Zoocology visit last October 19, 2010.
Zoocology is an animal bone and skin museum located at Manila Ocean Park. Obviously, these are just some of the animals that you can see in this little museum.. Visit and like the Zoocology Facebook page for more information on their latest events and promos. Here's the Animoto slideshow:

Jolly 5th Bday to Gabby!
As compared to McDonald's, I've always liked parties celebrated in Jollibee for several reasons. One, they choose hosts that are gay (in both sense of the word). Second, Jollibee is way much cooler than any McDonald's mascot that I know. Every Jollibee mascot I've seen knows cool dance moves that never fails to amuse and entertain the crowd, both children and adults alike. Third, I like their games. They're fun and engaging.
So far Gabby's 5th birthday -- and Toni's 1st birthday -- we celebrated at Jollibee. The whole gig lasted for an hour and a half. It was short as birthday parties go, but it was definitely fun and memorable for Gabby, who chose to dress like a princess that night.
Here's a video from that party.

Dancing Jollibee
Here is a video of Jollibee dancing to the tune of Kagat Labi during Gabby and Toni's birthday celebration last November 8. You'll be seing my coursing Marron attempting to dance with it and Edge, the little guy in yellow, having no qualms about dancing with the lovable mascot.

Gabby's Bumping
We went to Star City last October 30 to celebrate Manu's 7th birthday. We weren't able to check out as many rides as we want to but Gabby did manage to ride the bump cars. Thank God those aren't real cars because my daughter does not seem to have the natural talent for driving that some kids do. Check out her driving skills in the video below.
I know, I know the video is too dark. In my haste I forgot to set it to night mode. But you can't miss her smiles. That's the most important.
